If this was any other event, I would have pissed off and be exploring the city and having a great time. It's not a bunch of people trying to sell each other their services. So many industry events drive me insane because everyone's just pitching. It can be very rare that you go to an event where it can really teach you lots of new stuff about what it is you do other than maybe, you know, introducing you to new gear and those sorts of things, but fundamentally change the way you think about what it is you do and how you do that. I am lucky enough to be back at one of the events that um I love coming to every year. It is just this meeting of minds that is unparalleled in any other industry event that talks about video that I think I've ever been to. And it's such a special thing. Um I think a lot of the people I know think I come along to this event and it's you know a chance to excuse to have a piss up in Copenhagen and eat some nice food. It's something so much more profound and so much more deep than that. The people who come to this event are the very very best at what they do um in video creation, in marketing. people who use this stuff as well on the front lines, some of the most forward thinking brands in the world, the biggest companies in the world. And you get this like unparalleled meeting of minds. And sure, there's people setting up business relationships here at this event, but it's something far deeper than that and far more profound than that in the relationships that I've made at this event. And regardless of whether it's other video agency owners, regardless of whether it's people I might work with in the future, I've met filmmakers today, sound designers. I was going to try and do a recap video, but there is too much. There is so much exciting stuff I've heard, so many exciting conversations I've had that I want to share some of the ideas that I've come across, some of the conversations that I've been a part of in a little bit more detail and actually sort of dedicate a couple of dedicated videos to each of these really powerful ideas and conversations and topics that have come up because there's such profoundly important things being discussed here if you are in video communication. And so, yeah, there's going to be some more coming. This is a bit of a rant. This was a bit of a ramble sharing just like the passion and the excitement that I have for this sort of stuff and more to come. Stay tuned uh wherever I post this. Sessions are starting.
