I started with “Think Like an Artist “ by Will Gompertz and explored even more.. it is an incredible read, full of true stories that will help anyone stuck creatively, feeling unsure or disheartened about their creative work, art and dreams! In this video I explore the book and some things it inspired me to seek out too!

The book shows us how some of history's greatest artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians from Warhol to JJ Abrhams and more dealt with everything from self-doubt, lack of recognition, blocks, hostile governments and more in their lives and how these situations can help can help the rest of us.

It's amazing how so many of them were dealing with variations of problems that we all face every day too; shyness, uncertainty, not wanting to expose your true self to the world and more.. and it looks at how they dealt with these things then went on to achieve legendary statuses, and how it can teach us all a lot.

Anthony Bourdain inspired a generation to travel, explore, be kind to one and other and enjoy food in an unpretentious, gonzo chef-meets-pirate fashion.
While he was a trained chef who seemingly made shows centred around food, culinary destinations and people, his real superpower was in connecting people. Hi was a witty, dry, wise and insightful modern day philosopher and artist whose singular voice inspired me to change my life. So on what would have been his 68th birthday, I made this my "Vlogumentary" tribute, a journey around Central London and into my past as I share how he changed the world and my life and creative trajectory too!
